Ways to Give

How Do You Want Your Gift to be Used?

Unrestricted (Where needed most)

An unrestricted gift is the most flexible form of philanthropy. These gifts are undesignated to any specific fund and give physicians and administrators the ability to respond to unforeseen needs.  Unrestricted gifts allow the Medical Center to direct resources and focus funds where the opportunities are greatest.

Making an unrestricted gift is like buying a mutual fund: you know that you will have a part in every research project, every educational initiative, and every patient's care through the work of the Clinic. Unrestricted donors have a share in everything we do.

Fremont Health Medical Center has many special programs that serve a variety of needs and opportunities internally and in the surrounding communities.  These programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Books for Babies
  • Cancer Services
  • Diabetes Education
  • Dunklau Gardens Activities
  • Employee Family Crisis
  • Hospice & Home Health Care
  • Medication Assistance
  • Mom and Baby Home Care
  • Patient Care Services
  • S.A.F.E. (Safe Accessibility for Everyone)
  • Scholarships

The health care industry is ever-changing. In order to continue to provide the most advanced health care services, Fremont Health Medical Center must continue to invest in new, emerging technologies.  A significant portion of this investment comes from private philanthropic sources, in the form of funds to be used for equipment purchases.

At the Fremont Health Medical Center, we pride ourselves in going above and beyond to make our patients comfortable.  Charitable gifts to building and facility improvement help the Medical Center continue to implement ways to enhance and expand its current facilities for the comfort of our patients.

Naming Opportunities

Fremont Health Medical Center is proud to recognize the generosity of its donors by naming appropriate facilities, endowments and programs in their honor. Naming opportunities serve as a lasting legacy and are a reminder that philanthropy enables us to bring advanced medicine closer to home for the patients we serve today and in generations to come.

Giving in Perpetuity (Endowment)

You may wish to have your gift added to the Medical Center’s permanent endowment, to provide income for the project of your choice every year in perpetuity.

To fully fund and be eligible to name and designate an endowment, donors must meet certain minimum amounts, according to project.  Gifts may be pledged over a period of up to five years, with the endowment fund being named when the minimum is reached.
