Rehabilitation & Physical Therapy

Fremont Health's Rehabilitation Center provides a highly trained staff, advanced equipment and the most comprehensive array of services available in the area to help patients cope with surgery, illness, injury and chronic conditions.Our rehabilitation services are available for inpatients at Fremont Health Medical Center and for outpatients.

With more than 12,000 square feet of space, we offer specialized exercise equipment for physical therapy, a cardiac monitoring system, cardio/strength training and a heated aquatic pool. Thanks to our occupational therapy facilities, patients can practice daily living skills in our kitchen, laundry and bathroom areas.

Our rehabilitation specialists have earned certifications in the disciplines of hand therapy, asthma education, exercise test technology, health fitness instruction and smoking cessation. An aquatic therapist and speech and language pathologists are also available.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

The licensed physical, speech and occupational therapists at Fremont Health Medical Center offer treatments that are appropriate to the needs of each inpatient for the duration of his or her hospital stay.

For example, physical therapy may be used to treat problems with movement. Occupational therapy may be done to help improve the ability to perform activities of daily living, and ease the transition back to home and work. And speech therapy can treat difficulties with communication or swallowing.
