Saturday Sports Injury Clinic

Injuries don’t always happen at the most convenient times. That’s why Fremont Health provides a free Saturday Sports Injury Walk-in Clinic each Saturday during the fall. Injured athletes from any high school in the region can show up and be seen by experts in sports medicine.

The clinic is located in the Rehabilitation Department at Fremont Health Medical Center, 450 East 23rd Street, Entrance B, and is open each Saturday from 9 – 11 a.m., now though November 12. Athletes are asked to check in by 10 a.m. and are seen on a first come, first served basis.

Injured athletes will be evaluated by providers from Fremont Health Family Care and Fremont Health Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, and Fremont Health’s Certified Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists. Parents are welcome to attend with their student athlete to discuss any questions or concerns with the medical professionals.

For more information about the Sports Injury Clinic or on these programs or any other Rehab/Sports Medicine service, call (402) 727-3329.

*In the event additional medical evaluation and/or treatment by a physician is recommended, the athlete will be given the option to choose an Emergency Department, their primary care physician or an orthopedic surgeon. Charges incurred for additional medical services are the responsibility of the student’s parent or legal guardian and will be billed accordingly.
