Arlene Walter is 85-years-young.
"I'm active...I love to go," she said.
But as she celebrates more and more birthdays, she has noticed some changes.
"I have a little trouble remembering people's names. I always know their face...it is so frustrating," Walter admitted.
"It's not uncommon for people to have a harder time remembering names and birthdays and needing to write more things down... When we start to worry is when it affects your daily living...and your friends and family members start to notice something is not right," said Dr. Kylee Stanley.
Dr. Stanley says a Memory Screening is an easy way to determine if Arlene's occasional forgetfulness is a sign of normal aging or a bigger problem.
"It takes discussion with your physician to help tease out what's just normal aging - what do we expect as we have more birthdays versus what's serious and may need medication or more invasive treatments and therapy with your doctor," Stanley added.
