From Breast to Bone Health, We’ve Got You Covered

Our board-certified radiologists use the latest diagnostic capabilities, with specialties that include:

  • Digital mammography: All screening mammograms are performed digitally, which allows for much greater flexibility in reading images, especially areas of concern. This technology is supplemented by a Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) System, which helps flag abnormalities associated with breast cancer and has shown to significantly increase early detection rates.
  • Breast MRI: This noninvasive test uses a powerful magnetic field, radio frequency and a computer to produce detailed images of the breast. MRI is a valuable supplemental tool to mammogram screenings to detect and stage breast cancer, especially in women with dense breast tissue or at an elevated risk for the disease.
  • Ultrasound with 3D/4D capability: This safe and painless scan uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time visual images of structures inside the body. It allows your doctor to study the health of a developing fetus, your abdominal and pelvic organs, muscles and tendons and/or heart and blood vessels. Our Philips ultrasound system generates an advanced level of image quality that often eliminates the need for other, more complicated exams and procedures.
  • Stereotactic breast biopsy: This technique involves a special mammography machine to precisely locate suspicious lesions that can’t be felt in a physical exam. Your radiologist then uses a biopsy needle to take a tiny section of tissue for examination and diagnosis, without surgery.
  • Bone density scanning: This fast, enhanced form of X-ray is used to measure bone areas, mainly in the hips and spine, that are most susceptible to fracture due to osteoporosis and other degenerative bone diseases. Our state-of-the-art General Electric DEXA ProdigyTM bone densitometer can greatly improve the early detection and treatment of these conditions. Physician referral is required.
