Leading the Way in Wound Care

Fremont Health’s Center for Wound Healing has again been honored with two awards: the Center of Distinction Award and the Center of Excellence Award from Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.  

To earn the Center of Distinction Award, a wound center must achieved patient satisfaction rates above 92%, and a healing rate of at least 91% within 30 median days, among other quality standards. Out of 512 wound centers, only 221 achieved this honor. In 2015 Fremont Health’s wound center achieved a 97% healing rate within 28 median days to heal, with a patient satisfaction rate of 93%.
