ACS: A Valuable Resource for Cancer Patients

A diagnosis of cancer can bring about a tremendous amount of upheaval and uncertainty into the lives of both the person diagnosed and their family. It is at these times that the American Cancer Society can provide that extra bit of support and information to complement that being provided through the health care system. At a local level, the ACS and its trained volunteers provide confidential information and support for people affected by cancer.

For more information about services provided by the ACS, call 1-800-227-2345.
