Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy treats persons of all ages who have lost their ability to function in everyday life due to an illness or injury. Occupational Therapists use "occupation" in meaningful day to day living activities including work, leisure, and self maintenance. It is a therapeutic means to restore the patient to his/her maximum functional level.

Occupational Therapy evaluates patients through assessment of daily living activities, muscle strength, range of motion and coordination testing, sensory, perceptual and cognitive testing, and home and job site analysis.
