“Feed the Family” Meal Prep Class Offered Feb 16

We all want to feed our families healthy, homemade meals, but busy weeknight schedules can get in the way. Join us for this “take & bake” course and together we’ll prep four dishes of 4-6 servings each. Best part is we do all the shopping and clean up and you start your week with four delicious ready-to go dishes.

Feed the Family: Meal Planning and Prep Class is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, from 2 – 4 p.m. on the third floor of Methodist Fremont Health’s Health Park Plaza, located at 450 East 23rd Street in Fremont. Cost for the class is $60, which is due at registration and covers all the groceries and supplies needed for our four recipes.

  • Recipe 1: Pineapple Chicken with Cauli Rice – Easy and flavorful crockpot or baked dinner perfect for any night of the week.
  • Recipe 2: Garlic Shrimp Asparagus Skillet with Veggie Pasta – Low-carb, gluten-free, and great for a busy weeknight since this is a one-pan meal ready in 20 minutes or so.
  • Recipe 3: Cilantro Lime Chicken – Stock your freezer with this crockpot freezer meal. Drop in the crockpot and you’re set!
  • Recipe 4: Apple Crisp – We can’t forget about a freezer friendly dessert!

You’ll get healthy meals and recipes, valuable nutrition information and even your own apron! Please bring a tote or laundry basket to carry supplies and take home meals prepared in class.
